Look at the image closely. I was so happy that these two landed in the tree and no branches got in the way. While the eagle on the bottom is giving me the stink eye a Blue Jay tries a sneak attack but they are unphased! New Haven County CT 11/28/25

A pair of Peregrine's (falcons). Notice the one on the right. That lump on it neck is its crop. Its a temporary storage pouch in its esophagus that allows it to eat quickly then digest its food later in a safe location. This one had a BIG meal. SW CT 11/7/25
