A pair of Peregrine's (falcons). Notice the one on the right. That lump on it neck is its crop. Its a temporary storage pouch in its esophagus that allows it to eat quickly then digest its food later in a safe location. This one had a BIG meal. SW CT 11/7/25

After the excitement of finding the Northern Harrier, here are some common finds. Special in their own way.

Porsche. Sometimes it all just comes together. I was taking pictures of some farm equipment by this Autumn tree. Out of the corner of my eye I see this beautiful classic Red Porsche coming into the frame. No time to change settings, no 20 frames per second. I had to do it the old fashioned way; Snap, Snap, Snap. 3 images and the middle one is perfectly framed. Taken in Southbury CT at the STS 10/21/25. If anyone knows the owner I would love to get this image to him.
