The Farmington River CT at a roadside pullout 

Kayaker on the Farmington River; they were having a slalom run going through gates in freaking cold water! 

 Just past Otis in MA. I turned off the main road and found this inlet with these beautiful homes on the lake as the trees are changing colors

This beautiful church is in Winsted CT. We pass it many times on the way to Great Barrington and always said it would make a great fall shot. Cloud cover was coming in fast.

 

Churches and Autumn....Two of Gods best creations.

I finally found the location where the osprey feed and why they are here later then normal this year; an abundance of fish!! Bunker by the thousands are coming into the harbor in Milford CT to escape the blue fish in LI sound creating a sushi buffet for the young osprey. The parents are long gone to get to FL and points south, the young-ins like all the easy food. This weekends cold snap may send them running ( flying).

This is NOT a hatchery, bunkers by the thousands in the harbor.
