Hubbard Park (Meredin CT) has a daffodil festival every year. It was this weekend but we went today with our friends the keatings when the crowds were gone and it was nothing but flowers.

A round trip 3.5 mile walk today on the bridle path yielded many signs of spring. Ducks, Butterfly, Turtle and what it was built for...Horses too!
Spring colors paint the pond as a duck leaves a wake.
Trees have some light spring buds and a bit of green grass starts to pop as spring is right around the corner.
A fleeting moment as this butterfly landed to take in the sun for just a second.
Mr & Mrs mallard explore the marsh...chicks will follow soon
I ain't coming out of here until you two just keep on walking by.
